She has trained in various types of dance such as ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theater. If asked what her favorite style of dance is, she will always reply, “It’s impossible to choose just one!” To date, Sage Marie is one of the youngest members ever accepted to the Louisiana Delta Ballet starting out at as Trainee at the young age of 7. She has been in ballet performances performed by the Louisiana Delta Ballet since she was 3 years of age. In addition to the ballet company, Sage Marie has been a member of the Missy Crain Performing Company since she was 5 years of age where she continues to compete in multiple styles of dance. She is currently the 2015-2016, 1st Place Platinum Winner for her Jazz Solo & the Overall Platinum Winner for a Junior Prep Duo (performed with her bestie Jake) at LA Dance Magic. Sage Marie is most proud of receiving a scholarship at LA Dance Magic Nationals from Will Thomas (LADM Faculty & cast of SYTYCD). Her mentors are Miss Missy and Miss Courtney Crain. When she is not dancing, she likes to hang out with her dance family and snack on her favorite food which is Lime Greek Yogurt while watching So You Think You Can Dance-The Next Generation (of course) and re-runs of America’s Next Top Model. She is also the voice of Nuby’s Prayer Pal doll sold in most major retail chains in the US and overseas alike. Sage Marie is currently pursuing her dream to become a professional dancer that is versatile in multiple types of dance. She also hopes to work professionally as a model and as an actress.
